Wonder the reason Elisha (srsly?) didn't make it. At his pro day he put up 225 43 times. That would have put him 2nd and the combine among all players.

Elijah "Peanut" Joseph is coming off a torn ACL from last December but has good size for an ILB at 6'1" 243.

What UDFA's in the NFL right now (or ever for that matter) have the type of upside that Sam Shields has? I mean that guy literally has the talent to be a top 5-10 CB in the NFL. I think he could be every bit as good as Tramon Williams, if not better because he has superior physical ability.

Kurt Warner, Warren Moon, James Harrison, John Randle, Priest Holmes, Nate Newton, etc. Welker is a studly UDFA.

Here are active guys.

This is undrafted guys back to 1980.

I think Shields has the upside of some of those guys. Guys like Warner, Randle, etc. are obviously out of his league most likely.

No doubt has has a very high ceiling. I wouldn't be surprised to see him become a top 5 CB.

Along with the draft choices, the Packers signed undrafted free-agent defensive end Chris Donaldson of Oklahoma State.

Donaldson, 6 feet 1 inch and 298 pounds, started 13 games as a senior. In 30 games, he had 43 tackles and three sacks. A former junior-college player, Donaldson runs 40 yards in 5.15 seconds.

Apparently Elisha didn't pass his physical. He is still in town.
