Or better yet get a new 40,000 seat baseball only field!

I think we can fill up 50,000 but a baseball only field would be a dream.

If things go well and we do have a contending team then it will be a lot easier to get new baseball stadium. 50,000 would be a bad idea, Better to have it always sold out with a waiting list than empty seats. I think even 40,000 is too much, 35,000 would be perfect.

Soo... Thames won't probably last in the line up much longer. Once Brett Lawrie comes back, Thames goes back to the minors?

No, have some patience. Thames is not getting sent down on the basis on a three game slump (two games of which were against tough lefties). Even if such a slump extended to a week or longer, there is no reason to send him down to AAA where he would simply begin mashing again. He's proven he can hit at that level and the Jays need to see what he can do here.

MLB ball players go through slumps. Even Bautista hasn't homered in 14 games, and is not squaring the ball up well at all right now.

Thames had a dynamite 150 first at-bats, particularly the last 100 or so. He's in a min-slump... you definitely keep playing him.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

It was the first Toronto sellout for a game other than a home opener since April 19, 2003, also against the Rangers.

I was quite surprised by that there.
