I never pass up a chance for a good laugh.

Seriously though, just think about what you're contributing to the debate here. It's like me holding up a big sign that says "I hate midgets", and then when people call me on it adding "oh, I don't really hate midgets... makes you think though, doesn't it?" If you post large numbers of newspaper articles with almost no context or explanation, not only will people assume you are putting those views out there as your own, but it adds nothing to the discussion. It definitely didn't in this case, because the articles involve a handful of regular season games, and are the usual local newspaper nonsense about how "hometown guy #543 was awesome this week".

I honestly advise you to be more constructive in future by posting an analysis of the players (backed up with articles and quotes by all means) rather than spamming information as I've seen you do before (and have complained about before), and not really contributing to the nuance of the debate.

Expected obligatory shot.

You know what they say about people who "assume."

"As you've seen me do before."

Your join date is May 30 of this year, meaning you've been an official member of this board for all of two months and two days.

My join date is January of 2006, meaning I've been an official member of this board for five and two third years.

So seeing as how you've only been a member of this site for two months and two days, how large is the sample size of posts you've even seen from me in the mere two months you've been a part of this site—considering I do not put out a high volume of posts unlike some people—to even talk about "what you've seen me do before," and to presume to bestow some sage advice. Other, more tenured, posters who have been here longer than your two months have found many of the things I have posted here informative. However, one cannot please everyone, nor do I care to try.

Again, you are not obligated to read my posts. I will not care one whit. You are the only one to make a big deal about it, as this thread could have simply been pushed to the bottom of the page if you hadn't insisted on making it more than it needed to be. Now you can either let this die, or (as I expect) you can continue to drag this out. As I said, the only one wasting time here is you, if you make the conscious choice to do so. The choice is yours.

Adieu.
I remember your posts from the RPOY project, you consistently brought it. Please continue to do so, sir. This board needs guys like you to counteract ... worthless posters

Perhaps the RPOY project has been helpful in that regard, as whenever I glanced at it, I'd find massive info-dumps you'd made there. Now some articles and context are helpful of course, but you should provide some more analysis with it. I don't expect you to follow this advice, but it sure would make your posts more relevant, particularly for posters not as patient as myself, who don't like to wade through info-dump.

So by all means, keep posting in this thread, I just think it'd be nice if you had more posts that actually analysed Cowens as a player in a meaningful way, and alot less dancing around the issue and spamming info. For instance, what possible evidence is there that Cowens was as good as Dwight? So far I don't see any presented by you at all.
