We can surpass them with a strong showing.

This is the series that Rasmus hits first HR as a Blue Jay.

From ESPN..

The non-waiver deadline has passed which doesn't close the doors on the the trade rumor mill, it simply complicates the process. Tampa Bay closer Kyle Farnsworth could still be a target for contending clubs, but will he get that far in the waiver order?

Farnsworth may be of interest to clubs such as the Los Angeles Angels, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees and Minnesota Twins, and the Rays could see value in dealing him. There is one major obstacle in the path of that possibility, however and that obstacle is named the Toronto Blue Jays.

Farnsworth is owed less than $1 million the rest of 2011, a number that decreases with each passing day, and that number may not be enough to keep the Jays from claiming Farnsworth.

Farnsworth was just outside Type B compensation levels at the end of last season but has likely pitched his way up that list. In that scenario, the Jays would receive a sandwich round pick, just as they did with several players a year ago.

Nice, I'd be all for picking up pr0FF3ss0r_F4rnsw0rth for the rest of the year, especially if we could snag an extra pick out of it.

I think it's stupid that the Jays don't have a home game today with it being a holiday.

That's bad planning.

I'd say one out of three.

I think your being sarcastic but if we can take the first one sweep is very possible.

Don't know why but the Rays have always had the Jays number.

Joe Maddon's unorthodox style seems to mess with us all the time.
I wish the Jays had him, you wouldn't know what to expect next.

4 left handed bats and 2 switch hitters doesn't hurt either

Good to see Snider get in there against a lefty, though it's a helluva match-up. Price is pretty much as good as it gets from the left-hand side.
