Man, I was hoping we'd get to see one more run out of him. I guess he wasn't getting offers from any contenders. Though, I would imagine, that if a contender ends up having some injury troubles at some point during the regular season, he'll be one of the first calls that team makes.

Anyway, Randy Moss was always one of my favorite non-Giants because of his whole persona. He was arrogant, and deservedly so because there was no one in the league who could cover him for the first 7-8 years of his career. It was a real shame to see all the nonsense that happened in Minnesota and Oakland, but his pseudo-rebirth in New England was good to see.

He also gave me my favorite line in the history of interviews...

Thought he said he was in the best shape of his life. He'll come back to get his 1000/15000

Yea, I think he's pulling the Brett Favre. I wouldn't be surprised if Minnesota signs him, if not for a few games so he can end his career there.

Should be a first ballot HOFer. No one should be punished for being a Raider in the 2000's.

no doubt a first ballot HOF'er. Maybe just wants to get out of training camp/pre-season and half the regular season. Then he can sign mid-season with a contender that needs that extra piece.

Moss is arguably a top 3 WR of all time. He still got some left in tank. It's baffling to me that not many teams out there have shown strong interest in Moss. Sure he does things half assed but he is still better than most WRs in the league. I really hope he will come out of retirement at one point this season and sign with a contender

He'll be back. But regardless of that this guy is a surefire HOF'er and one of the best WR's to ever play the game. But I can only imagine how good this guy could of been if he would of tried most of the time.

Too bad he didn't have Cris Carter with him for majority of his career being a mentor, he would have been even better.

Just cause it ended on a sour note does not take away what he did for my home team. Love Moss, the personality, and the player.

Good luck in retirement, Randy.

The Eagles made a contract offer to Randy Moss after the receiver filed his official retirement papers with the league, according to the Boston Herald. rotoworld.com

Byron is busy sporting a Super Bowl Ring (as a backup to the Steeler rapist, I know )...Don't forget Ahmad Bradshaw, a Top 5 NFL RB!
