This. And in addition to that, we need to give that youth a chance to play and develop; something Jackson wasn't a fan of.

I hope Brown is.

he is. he did that with Gibson. hopefully he did that because he recognized potential and not just out of desperation because Snow really sucked big time.

I'm really not getting the "scaling down of talent for youth and depth". can't it be done without giving up talent?

Imagine this:

Ebanks comes back super improved: slashing and finishing like a poor man's kevin durant!

Goudelock comes in as a terrific shooter, looking like a future Byron Scott.

Darrius Morris comes in...maybe suspect jumpshot, but with pure point guard skills. The guy picks defenses apart and sets up Gasol and Bynum so well that we have no choice but to put fisher on the bench Finally!

Character comes in slim with dangerous footwork, looking like a poor man's mini Z-Bo if you allow him around the rim.

Barnes comes in healthy and scrappy diving for loose balls as usual, Blake comes back with a 3pt shot, and Lakers acquire a solid mid level Center.

All of a sudden, we have a bench mob again!

Walton = Gone!
Ratliff = Gone
Joe Smith = Gone
Trey Johnson Gone
Majok = overseas
Shannon Brown = Traded

...well i can Dream

^^^ that's too much to ask right now but yeah, we can dream. :lol:

Ebanks at best right now is a consistent Ariza with better slashing.

Goudelock = Reddick

Morris = an inspired Larry Hughes or Antonio Daniels

Caracter = Haslem mold would be enough

Barnes = hopefully more durable than ever and we get to see the GS Barnes back.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
