I see no reason why they wouldn't use Heyward as their first lefty pinch hitter in this game. As for him getting cold, um, he's already a brick of ice.

3-0, with Beachy pitching like a man, I smell the end of a losing streak.

Terrific job of pitching by Beachy! We needed it bad. And Uggla and Freemani are still hot and the streaks continue. Great job guys!

I was just about to comment on how his ERA is about to be out of the 3's and all of a sudden Washington puts up 4 runs.

Please dont let us lose a game after taking a 6-0 lead. I dont think I can take being swept by Washington in this fashion.

Just seems like we are the bad news Bears right now. I think we will pull this one out though, but I don't agree with the handling of Jason. To say you are going with the hot hand is contradictory when guys have struggled to the point of having a sub .200 batting order and they played through it. Just look at Jason Werth in Washington, the guy got a big pay day and batting average and overall numbers are basically the same as Jason's and he is out there everyday. The Braves have a history of this with Andruw and Franky, Heyward will leave this organization the first chance he gets and I don't blame him.

Good we avoided the sweep but I do not like they way this team is being run. Some people are being held accountable and some are not that is always the easiest way to create tension in the locker room and totally kill a teams chemistry.

Good to see us win, I think the rain delay really helped because it killed Washington's momentum, Beachy looked good till the 6th, Freddie just needs to learn when to pull him.
