Great little interview with LS.

Wants to get some floor time overseas.
Wants to play point.
Sounds eager and committed.

Oh, yeah. Let's hope he's working on his maturity, too.

I think it's real. I saw him at the draft and it was obvious he'd been working hard just from the thinner shape of his body. it is very good to read (this article was from the Star) that he figured out at the end of the year that the criticism he'd been receiving from his teammates was intended constructively. I think he'll take a big jump but a lost season won't help.

As a 2nd rounder, for the franchise there is no lost season, but for him he only has about three more years before he becomes an NBA undesirable. Personally, I would like to see him focus most on defense and court vision.

Ya know I love D.
I'm really hoping some George Hill Rubs off on Mr. Stephenson.
Kids got big talent.
Starting to sound like he may have a modicum of character.
Exciting stuff for the optimists among us.

What does Lance do now (for those that have seen him play a lot, I haven't) that he excells at?

he wasn't the leading scorer in NYC high school history for nothing. he excells at getting his shot off. it's been a long time since we had a player you could just give the ball to and get out of his way.

I went to the Indy Pro AM championship and even though his team lost, they threw him onto Eric Gordon and George Hill's team. He didnt look impressive at all out there, which was the first time I have seen him play first hand. He went iso everytime, shuffled his feet into a powerful spin and then missed the shot.

I can't imagine him being an NBA point guard. He doesn't look quick with the ball at all. And struggled to get around defenders not in the NBA.
