Mellowhype/Frank Ocean is the best thing to come from that group.

Yea if Tyler was out in the 90s he would kind of blend in with all the gangsta sh*t that was out back then, but these days he is definitely a little refreshing considering all the nerd, southern, and pop rap thats going around, which all sounds the same. Im a fan of Tyler, especially since he makes his own beats. I love the fact that hes different and twisted up. Its interesting to see what hes gonna say. Kid has potential no doubt.

Why are so many people turned off but his lyrical content? Never heard of Horrorcore?

lord infamous, tech n9ne, brotha lynch hung, necro all started this crazy sound

But in one of his songs he said something about not wanting to be labeled as a horrorcore artist.

not that the song is bad or anything but when you listen to this and then he's old ****. Dude's fallen off man. Not saying that he's a great lyricst or something but he had way better beats, lyrics and that gangsta element. which jus seems lacking nowadays from him. He's put down a lot of whack verses lately.

back when 50 was **** out hot tunes, good lyric and flow(g'd up), many men/patiently waiting brought that anger and true gangsta element that appealed to people. even 21 questions was radio friendly but didn't come across as switching it up or dumbing down.
but when he prob makes more money from endorsements and films then you can see why the music suffers.

50 Cent fell off... completely. I loved his music back when he first came out, "Get Rich Or Die Trying" was one of my favorite albums ever. Once he dropped "The Massacre", this was the start of his decline. Now he's just complete sh*t. I think the last song he dropped that I really liked was "I'll Still Kill", but other than that, he's still not the same anymore.
