Westbrook (35)/Davis (DNP)
T. Allen (30)/(28)Hill
Gay (34)/Mar. Williams(10)/Korver(6)
Griffin(32)/Millsap(20)
Andersen(25)/Monroe(10)/Splitter(10)

I'm also taking into consideration how 2K does minutes; at 40, Rondo and Amare will probably end up playing 36-38 a game in simulation. That's how I've always had to do it; if I wanted anyone playing more than 36 minutes or so, I had to give them 40+ on the rotation menu.

It's not so much their minutes as it is the reserves. Fractional minutes separated by out of bounds, fouls, and time outs never really gets it and 2K doesn't seem to have an answer.

You know that Jrue shot a better 3Pt% than Augustin last year. He's a career 37.5% long range shooter and shot over 50% in the playoffs.

He would get plenty of open looks to boost that percentage with that team.

1. Sachmo (congrats - even though you have an old team, seems like you convinced most of us with your big three. I love Iggy as a LeBron stopper - that's why I gave you the upper edge on Ian.)
2. Fred (I couldn't decide whether you should be no. 1 or 2, since Chris Paul would probably destroy Sachmo's defense by penetrating all day long, however his bench convinces me more and he has the bigs to keep Paul at least out of the paint. But it wouldn't be a problem vs Ian)
3. Ian (just because to me it seems like your centers wouldn't make it through the first month of the season. Of course in real life you would sign a bunch of old vets chasing rings like Juwan Howard, Joe Smith etc., but that's real life, this is our scavenger hunt draft)

By the way, how about using whatifsports.com for simulation? I've seen some fantasy drafts being decided that way, it supposedly has a pretty good simulation engine plus it has every team and player in the NBA/ABA history. A sim league like ours wouldn't be for free though. Want to try it out? Simulate some matchups - http://whatifsports.com/nba/. You can have some fun with it, I love to simulate today's teams vs some of the 80s or 90s.

I predict that in a year Sachmo's team will look terrible, and mine will have at least gone up to 3rd or 4th.

Even in old age, I think Kobe + Garnett + Duncan is a crazy trio to top.

I only gave Ian the advantage because of his perimeter depth. I could see Bosh playing center and Artest/Hill/Bronie playing PF.

Much harder to rank teams this year.

Doesn't matter because the comp was predicated on winning the rings next season, not the season in 5 years time and Sachmo's team is best geared to win next season.

I almost put a vote in for Slam. I like Randolph (Tyrus Jr.) and I love Webster but Jordan isn't there yet. I think he's going to be Dally v2 in a few years but he's still raw. I docked McGee for the same reason. Top 3 last year, this year just too much competition.

I think removing the protected list was a good move. Really opened things up and we still had to scrounge for guys with the later picks.

1-Ian- Strong 5 with Blatche and Thornton off bench is nice. Good veterans to help LeBron and Bosh get first ring.

2-Fat-Good team all around I like what you did around Nash. Good post scorer in Randolph and go to scorer in Martin. Also, George has good upside to take over for AK47 soon.

3-Fred- CP3 with some nice weapons on wings with good bigs and enough on bench. Wish you would of had a better backup big.

Wow Sachmo your bench is absolutely putrid and your starters are too old to have a bad bench.

I can't believe my team isnt going to get one vote. I guess I did not dick ride anyone teams hard enough to get a vote back.
