Never had a dominate closer during the 14 straight division titles. Had we had a closer like Hoffman, Rivera or Wagner back then, we'd have won more than 1 WS.

I just finished up setting up the production in the room that is going to host the Bobby Cox retirement gathering. It should be a good show for the ones that attend.

Tomorrow is going to be a special day!

Uggla is like a force of nature right now! Keep it going Dan! 32 games is an Atlanta braves record. The Franchise record is Boston Braves player Tommy Holmes who hit in 37 straight in 1945. Dan is also now tied for the 23rd longest streak in MLB history. Very impressive.

My friend, you have put it out there into the Cosmos. It can never be erased. I'd love to see it, but I give it about a 5% chance of happening. I'm not sure that record will ever be broken. But the more he pushes it, the better his odds. And the deeper he goes into the record books for longevity of a hitting streak.
I'll bet the high he is on right now rivals the low he felt the first half of the season when he was slumping so badly. I am really happy for him. This is what he needed to make the rest of his time in Atlanta more relaxing and comfortable. He probably is now able to completely put the slump out of his mind. Very important for his future.

Had a great time at the game last night. Couldn't have asked for a better game to attend, got the win, Minor pitched well, Uggla streak extended, 5 HRs hit by Braves.

Btw, Zambrano is a POS.

Dan is amazing another Homerun, and to think we basically stole him from Florida, Marlins fans must be as red with fury as uggla is red on his hit streak lol

It went ugly fast! That tends to happen with Lowe during the 5th inning. We won't be able to risk starting him during the postseason.
