Bradly doesn't match up well with Khan either. He doesn't have one punch knock out and Khan speed will be too much.

I also think that Hatton's resume um... sucks for being in some people's mind a HOF type fighter. Best win was vs a old Kosta at home. Not impressed...

I love Ponce DeLeon but I don't think he is a fighter with the special type of knockout power anymore. He is really slow, and Gamboa could very well get an early KO just like Juan Manuel Lopez did previously.

Nice to see Top Rank and GP working together on a card nonetheless...

I am surprised that Pavlik hasn't gottena DUI, gotten arrest, or etc. His life is a down right mess... turned down a 1.1 million dollar payday and cancelled his fight this weekend on tues.

Says that Kessler got offereed 3.5 million to fight Bute... Bute isn't even getting 3.5 for his fight.... drunk bastard.

Yeah... Mares won a foul fisted fight that was pretty good... but beyond horriable refering.

The Showtime team almost lost it...

Jim Grey for once his jacknessness was excellent in calling out Mora basically a **** idiot...

Wow. That referee was awful. You know it's bad when you get sick to your stomach just thinking about how unfair something is.

The punch to the groin thing on sporst science is a crazy (awesome) coincidence.

I'm pretty sure both Angulo and Katsidis showed mercy on their respective out-matched opponents and just went straight for body-shots. You wouldn't necessarily think Michael would have that kind of personality but there's no other explanation for a body attack like that...it was intended to save the guy from head damage. Brutal, beautiful.

LOL, what was going through Angulo's head after that KO? Just completely stone-faced. Disgust with his opponent? He clearly wanted more action and a longer fight. He showed a lot of graciousness toward the guy but his immediate reaction was disgust and exasperation, IMO.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

omg, cant believe my eyes. im actually watching a really good heavweight. these "regular" sized heavies should just fight each other and leave the klits alone.
i know they're the cash cows, but imagine if guys like povetkin, chagaev, boytsov, adamek, mike perez, solis, luis ortiz, eddie chambers, etc fought each other instead of chasing the klits, who would dwarf every single one of them every time out.
i usually sht on the heavyweight division, but there is talent there and there are good fights to be made. they just have to be vs 2 similar sized fighters just like in EVERY OTHER DIVISION.

as for the fight itself, povetkin looked great. i could see the atlas influence. he looked kinda awkward at first, but he was throwing those patented prime tyson combos. left hook to the body/ left uppercut, right cross to the body/left uppercut, double left hooks body/head, jab/left uppercut. he put his punches very well together. chagaev is a tough cookie. got some bombs in and had povetkin hurt but he couldnt match povetkin's combination punching.

I wish Oscar De La Hoya the best and I hope he gets his life in order.

Oscar De La Hoya admits addictions

Former boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya said he thought about suicide and has been going to rehab because he has become dependent on drugs and alcohol in an interview with Spanish-language network Univision.

"Rock bottom was recently," De La Hoya said, according to an English-language transcript provided by the network. "Within couple of years, just thinking if my life was even worth it. I don't have the strength, I don't have the courage to take my own life but I was thinking about it."

De La Hoya says he has been sober for three months after undergoing treatment and joining Alcoholics Anonymous.

He said he was unfaithful to his wife and that they were separated for a while. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/m ... &eref=sihp

Berto fights tonight vs Zavek. I don't know about this fight... Berto should be a favorite, but I really dislike him. It also doesn't help that HBO has banked so much money to him that he has this sense of entitlement. I hope he loses. I hate that he used the anemia card, ( i am anemic by the way) as a way to sugarcoat the fact that he lost vs Ortiz. He didn't have this look in his eye bull...
