Haven't read the thread to see what most thing but between family night and last night I think Gordy is on track to earn a spot on this roster. He looks similar to Tramon and Shields in their first seasons.

Not quite sure if he has the physical talent to be as good as him... But he kind of reminds me of Steve Smith (Carolina).

“I’ve very excited about Randall Cobb,” Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said. “You’ve got to trust Ted when he drafts a kid like that, and receiver was not a need for us. To bring in a guy like that, he made some big plays, he’s going to be a big part of our team. I’m looking forward to maybe getting some reps with him at some point.”

Our receiving core is just insane. I'd say no team has weapons that even come close to ours.

I can't think of any.

Philly is close, but Maclin and Smith aren't healthy.

In my younger days when i lived in bars, if me and buddies struck out on a given night with the cute ladies and bar close was nearing, sometimes that lead to going what we called "hogging." This was basically switching to the heavier girls and seeing if any were up for one night of lovin.

As for the game, it was nice to see Graham Harrell look pretty good. I hope he gets to play quite a bit more this preseason because obviously Flynn will be gone next year and we'll need a new backup QB. It's pretty much a certainty that Ted with draft a QB from rounds 3-7, but it would be nice if Harell also became a very viable option for the backup job.

I don't have much to add and its only preseason, but if I had to make a cut today I'd keep Gordy over Lee, and I'm pretty sure we were playing a completely vanilla D, but I didn't see us get anything even resembling a pass rush. I wasn't really paying attention to see if we ever sent more than four guys though.

Cobb is going to be awesome, and we FINALLY have a legit punter. Masthay has a cannon leg.

We sent more than four on a few occassions, especially early on. Part of the reason why McCoy was so successful was because they were picking our blitz up with relative ease.
