Hope I am not considered a troll for simply stating that I don't like the way this teams management is managing things. Jason is not doing what he is capable of without a doubt but his problems are being highlighted too much by his manager. He gets a hit off of a lefty steals a base and scores to put us back in front then he gets taken down by Freddi, and don't forget he saves us runs with a good catch in the outfield. I am sorry but Freddi has some problem with Jason and this is not good for the future.

Correct, it's not good for the future, and it was a bad decision for him to make. Pitch hitting Chipper for him is only going to get in his head and hurt his confidence. The thing I like about Freddi is that he allows his players to steal, but he makes some very poor decisions with Heyward, and with the bullpen.

I was dissapointed with O'Flahrety, this is the second straight game where he's choked but I'm optomistic that he'll return to that first half form. As for Uggla time to start a new hitting streak :)

While I do disagree with some of Fredi's decisions, it is difficult to be slamming on him too much. I mean, we are tied with the Brewers for the 4th best record in all of MLB. It is not like we are sucking. Overall, I had far more issues with Bobby Cox's managerial decisions over the years than I have with Fredi. Bobby always left his pitchers in far too long when they really started to struggle and let games get out of hand. I know his players loved him for the trust he showed in them, but as a fan, when you see the pitcher no longer has it that night, you want him yanked ASAP. Bobby could never bring himself to do it. And many close games became blowout losses.

Anyway, got off track. I'm just saying that where we can all make small points about what Fredi is doing, let's just keep in mind that we are still playing some darn good ball as a team. And he has to be given credit for the good when we insist on placing blame for the bad.

And Uggla's hitting streak ties him for 19th longest in MLB history. Very impressive.
