2010 Packers : America's Game

Post#1 » by an_also » Sat Aug 6, 2011 4:53 pm

According to Wiki

2010 Green Bay Packers
Narrator: TBD
Team Commentary: Mike McCarthy, Aaron Rodgers and Charles Woodson
Air Date : TBD (I'm assuming it'll be an hour before kickoff on opening night. Thats when they've usually done it the last few years)

Personally I'd have Rodgers, Woodson and Driver as the team commentary.

Tomorrow at 7:00 on the NFL Network they're showing a replay of tonight's Family Night, at 9:00 they're showing something called 2010 Green Bay Packers. The description is

Led by the confident Aaron Rodgers and a stout defense, the 2010 Green Bay Packers make an unexpected run to Super Bowl glory with a victory of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers.

Saw it advertised a couple hours ago. Not sure if it's the America's Game feature or not.

That show is called Film Session, only a half hour. The one on the 1996 Packers is on at 9:30.

The part on the 96 team's America's game when Favre, Winters and Beebe take their kids trick or treating to Holmgren's house and they all switched jersey's and had on masks cracked me up. Holmgren was so pissed. When Beebe tries to walk in his house you could almost see the reality hit him that he might have to kick these drunk Packer fans' asses.

I bet if you went trick or treating at Ted Thompson's house, Herb Kohl and the gimp would answer the door.

They almost always have at least one coach, I thought maybe it would be Capers.

NFL films tweeted today that it premieres 9pm Wednesday September 7th. I'm assuming that's eastern time.

My parents having DirecTV but no DVR. There is absolutely no way I'm going to be able to catch this, which sucks.

FYI - for those who have TW:

I've got some inside sources there, and apparently they were close to a deal with NFLN for October, but it fell through and it is NOT coming to TW anytime soon.

I'm going back to direct tv for this
