Good read on Rodgers after his 2nd concussion and the superbowl run.

Re: Training Camp Thread
Depending on the return, trading Jordy could be a good option. Though Jones is inconsistent, his upside is higher and we have him signed. I don't see us resigning jordy anyways, if Cobb is the real deal. Problem being we don't HAVE to move him. If we could get a second rounder for him I would do it. I don't think any teams will pay that price.
Do it for Chuck

-Split Taylor and Finley out wide often; Finley ran a go route, which was overthrown
-Gurley, Taylor and West made some nice grabs
-For about 30 mins, all the QBs were working on pass patterns exclusively with Finley, away from the rest of the team.
-Finley catches everything within a 10 mile radius of his hands. They are like magnets
-I shook hands with Edgar Bennett. He seemed kinda surprised a fan would come up to him, I was pumped.
-Starks, Green, Quarless and Crabtree weren't in pads
-Lots of the vets were joking around having fun in today's practice
-Elmore is invisible
-Walden is a good, strong player
-Grant looks a bigger (in a good way), maybe its just me
No one cares.

Naw, I like when people post their practice observations. I just don't have anything to add to it.

Good, I was jk anyways.
I was intrigued (read: horny) when I saw them working exclusively with Finley on routes away from the team.

Bob McGinn
One of the most fundamentally sound players on #Packers' roster is C-G Sampson Genus. Watch him next time. Just by the book. Impressive.
Bob McGinn
Maybe #Packers CB Josh Gordy is a gamer. Was much better vs. Brownies than on practice field. He has tools and shouldn't be counted out.

We're going to be cutting a lot of good players.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I do Willy, but the lack of fap must mean it wasn't to great right? lol I wonder if we can keep Taylor on the practice squad or if he makes the team for his special teams and Quinn is gone. Edgar is awesome. Anyone else think Saine looks a lot like Grant did when he first came to GB? I would be ok with trading one of our top WR if we are able to lock up Finley to an extension which I doubt happens before the season, but if Driver retires after this year and we lose Finley I want to keep them all. Hopefully we are able to stash a couple extra WR on the practice squad again but I think Gurley is gone if he ends up there.I was hoping Elmore was a guy that showed up in games but it doesn't appear to be the case. As far as Maybin maybe Greene could light a fire under him, worth a shot. He'll get another chance somewhere.

Re: Training Camp Thread
Maybe a couple of the guys will get "injured" so we can stash them on IR all year. They get paid and they get a season to hang around the team, learn the system, etc... and another shot next summer. As opposed to being cut and not knowing if they'll get picked up.

Re: Training Camp Thread
It wouldn't surprise me at all if Gordy wound up making the team. He's had a year in the system now. He's got great physical ability, running a 4.40 40 and leaping 38 inches and 5'11".
McGinn seemed impressed.
I really hope we have a young guys take hold of the position behind Shields and opposite Clay.

Re: Training Camp Thread
A couple more observations that I forgot to list
-A large black man was there with a shirt that said, "Papa Bishop" presumably Desmond's dad
-There were 4 young hotties in sundresses that got VIP entry, Im guessing one of the rookies/young guys guests
-I usually sit by knowledgeable fans, but not this time. Some guy asked the girl he was with, "why do the QBs wear red?"
-I am always suprised about how many attractive girls are in the stands, both colleged aged and moms

Agreed, I'd much rather go with Gordy and House over Bush and Lee.
Looks like da Bears have interest in Maybin.

Re: Training Camp Thread
I still think Bush gets a bad rap. I'm not saying he's great, but for a #5 CB, he's pretty good. People just remember the times he got toasted playing against the top 1 or 2 WR and that sticks out. But IMO he's shown continuous improvement. The same cannot be said for Lee or Underwood.
I think we keep 10 total DB, and this is who I'd keep if it were up to me:
S:
Collins
Burnett
Peprah
Levine
DB
Williams
Woodson
Shields
House
Gordy
Bush (can also play S)

Re: Training Camp Thread
I think I'd keep one less safety, probably cutting whichever of Peprah or Levine looks worse. Keep Bush around for his ST ability and versatility.

Re: Training Camp Thread
Yeah, I could see that happening too, it just seems like we have a good amount of talent in the secondary. They have been talking about Levine for a while too. And I'm as impressed with Gordy as anyone else.
