@gregorMLB

#BlueJays place Jon Rauch on the 15-day disabled list with appendicitis and have designated Trever Miller for assignment.

Lewis and Ledezma called up.

Wtf Rommie Lewis? Could have called up Winston Abreu or Danny Farquhar.

Owch, appendicitis, doesn't this usually take a while to recover from?

So I guess AA didn't order Farrell to use the team's worst bullpen pitchers in the 8th last night.

Sure he did. He just needed an extra reason to DFA a vet at the end of his career and replace him with middling organization filler.

Well "a while" meaning a month or so, obviously not career-threatening.

Not very fond of Rommie Lewis though, hasn't show much to be impressed about anywhere.

There have been professional athletes that have been back in action 3-7 days after and they usually take around 2 weeks, so yea it's not "awhile".

i.e. Dunn and Holliday both came back from it in around 9 days this season.

I heard it was for a bad case of gopherballitis... maybe incurable!

Dunn still hasn't recovered, apparently...
