After Sonny Weems, another NBA player landed in Kaunas. Denver Nuggets’ starting point guard Ty Lawson signed with Zalgiris until lockout in NBA ends.

Sonny Weems ‘tweeted’ on his Twitter profile about this transfer. “Looks like me and the little homie @TyLawson3 will be on the same team this year again!!” – wrote Weems before the was officialy announced. Now, the contract is signed and second point guard in two days (Marko Popovic is first) is landing in Kaunas.

This should be interesting. This dude could really have a big impact over there, he's fast as hell and his style seems like it could really dominate in Europe. It's not prototypical Euro style, but it's not athleticism based one on one jocking that fails so much over their either.

Popovic isn't exactly a true point guard,he's better at SG because he shoots an abundant amount

EDIT:Seemingly the contract talks broke down at the last moment,so Popovic won't be joining Zalgiris

It looks Marko Popovic confirmed hes not gonna play in Zalgiris. But it was very close.
Zalgiris looks solid, they lost like what, one good player? Martynas Pocius. But brought 3 solid and athletic guys, Javtokas, Weems and Lawson. Lawson, I would say, best Euroleague team sign so far?

At least it's something to pay attention to. It could really be a boost to his confidence if he does well.
