I watched the first game vs. the DR team, and I dunno, but Cousins still looks pretty out of shape to me.

They also said that Cousins celebrated his bday in Vegas and hinted that he was not really in shape in terms of playing a complete game of basketball.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Most NBA players during the off season are not in perfect shape to play a full game of competitive basketball.

He's probably not in great "game shape" but I don't remember seeing that kind of mobility last year. I watched some of the warm ups and he was getting off the ground with ease. Probably a combination of strength and less weight.

Yeah, but did you see why!? Holy crap, I've never seen so much pointless running up and down the court. Wall and Rondo were one man fast breaking it 5 consecutive times down the court. At the end of one series of them doing that both Prince and Cousins just walked it up the floor. Wall and Rondo were playing waaay too fast even for their own good because they sure as heck weren't scoring.

There are two different kinds of conditioning; getting your wind up and getting your body in shape are two different realms. I doubt anyone not playing an NBA season can match that aerobic conditioning.

Here's the box score. He did go 8-17 on FTs, but I noticed something else.
