Btw there is a silver lining with Jeter at .290...

Gawd, I wished just once Jeter wouldn't Hold his emotions in and just lash out at Levine, Bean counter Hal, and Cash-money.

The unprofessional way that Levine let leak those negotiations to try and turn the public against Jeter....the hatred and nihilism of the fans as Jetes was trying to get the weight of 3,000 off his back....

If it weren't for my undying love for the Yankees, I'd wish this franchise become like the Knicks a useless, clueless disrespectful management team that has a history of not knowing how to draft or how to trade, doesn't know how to lure a superstar...and has a painful drought for a championship.

but lets be fair

it was jeters agent who took things public first, and then hal gave cash the green light to respond in the public

either way you are right, jeter is on fire and showing people he still has it left

Because the Yanks were purposely low balling Jeter...AFTER they threw 300M to A-rod.

Let's BE FAIR. Jeter never got himself in trouble unlike A-rod whose body may NEVER be the same again.

Yet, it comes to a guy who had an uncharacteristic subpar season (however in pre/post roid era this is not unusual) and suddenly it's WAR to the FACE of the franchise...

Don't care if A-rod breaks Bonds' record, he'll NEVER be the face of the Yanks after he's retired...Jeter will be LONG after the game has passed.

THAT's the difference.

i dont disagree
