Holy **** 200k for Nasri!? Dude's good but holy ****, that's insane. I really am at a loss for words.

Adam Johnson is ridiculously talented. I know Chelsea's been after him for a while, with Nasri in the fold I could see him going to Stamford Bridge.

I rate Adam Johnson as well. Prefer him to Mata at half the price

He's one of City's few true wingers. Can't see them letting him go easily even if he has a reduced role.

Also, £200,000 per week and £5M net signing on fee...

What the crap...!

whoa, nasri's agent ftmfw

In three years with the club, he had 3 good months and a good goal against Porto.

City won't let go of Adam Johnson. He's English (1 of the 4 they need), and as of right now is still starting for them. It's hard to see why they'd sell him, especially to a rival.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

We had an interview with a City official on a local sports site just now. That guy said they are convincing players with the great structure and philosophy of the club, not with money.

Germany's U17 just got 3rd place in the last U17 WC. Maybe Wenger can buy Samed Yesil, Koray Günter or Mitchell Weiser for 10m each and turn them into the next Walcotts :D

On topic: Schalke is rumored to sell Raul. He is playing well, but he is too expensive for cost-cutting S04. Possible new clubs: Paris SG or Blackburn.

The thing is money isn't City's only attraction anymore. They've got some great players and projects going on. I am sure money was still one of the biggest factors for Nasri, but I don't think it is the only thing he looked at. He's got better chance of winning trophies with City than with Arsenal.

Recall Man City's recruitment pitch to Ronaldo:
He told a friend: “They said they’ll treat me like royalty if I join Man City because they want to win the league.

“They sent me a picture of a Bentley with 500,000 notes on the seat. It was louco [crazy].”

A source told the Sunday Mirror: “He joked with the friend about how, if they were serious, they should have included a naked woman sprawled over the money.”

Also, I love how they are already setting up to circumvent the fair play rules with these (Please Use More Appropriate Word) sponsorship deals. The rules aren't even enforced yet!

Screw City.

I'm told 'special player' isn't Adebayor... As soon as I know for sure I'll say + it'll be across BBC outlets. #THFC

It'd be sweet if the special player is Gibson.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Aguero cost 38m pounds and Falcao 40m euro. Still, a stunning fee, though they need to replace Kun and (reportedly) Forlan. Arsenal could learn a thing or two...

I am surprised about the 40 million, but I have a strong feeling that Falcao will deliver. He did score 17 goals in the Europa cup last year

Falcao needs service to score. I highly doubt he scores as many as he did for Porto.
