i didn't say we did, but we were still in a position to grind out a point even with that lineup.

if we don't get some creativity coming in, then i'm with you, but for now i'll wait and see.

man .. im getting sick of wenger.. if this game alone isnt the game that convinces him to splash cash then i hope udinese also beat us why? we arent gonna win champions league anyways might as well focus on fa cup/carling cup and finishing as high as possible on the table ..

if we get knocked out this early though, we miss out on a bunch of cash. that won't help us spend more.

i'm still surprised that nasri played today

Of the 10 that finished today:

5 were 21 and under (plus frimpong)
and
2 have said they will leave the club.

I had a great time watching them play. But we need four new signings, or a new manager.

on the optimistic side, wenger definitely did not look like someone who thought his plan was coming together.

Same lineup as the Stoke game but with Anelka instead of Kalou.

Mata's at Stamford Bridge at the moment.

edit: it's actually Malouda who's being replaced

Liverpool is a different team when Suarez and Meireles are on the pitch.

Is this confirmed? If so, big time coup for Chelsea.

Guess not, but the transfer itself seems to be as good as done.

Shane Long scored against United and Chelsea, not a bad first two games

AVB shouldn't have started Kalou to begin with, but he does the right thing and makes the first half substitution. Better than Carlo's usual 60th minute substitution

They've been given plenty of times - Foster a bit lucky there.

Good save. Definitely an element of luck about it, but he did well to hold on.

And the team wakes up at the 40th minute. Hope we bring in Ferreira for Bosingwa. Bosingwa can't cross to save his life.
