Jarvis Varnado signs with Hapoel Jerusalem

Post#1 » by CablexDeadpool » Sat Aug 20, 2011 5:51 pm

Jarvis Varnado has signed with Hapoel Jerusalem of the Israeli League after spending last season in the second division of the Italian League.

Varnado, whose NBA rights remain with the Heat following June's tender offer, signed a two-year deal with Hapoel.

So Heat just gonna let him keep bouncing around the globe?

Actually this is good news. Hapoel Jerusalem is a good team in the first league of Israel which is a pretty good league in Europe. It's definitely the step forward we needed him to take and hopefully he'll perform well on the next level.

Wait, does this mean he's legally binded to play for them for the next two years? Or could the Heat call him down to play here whenever they want him?
Yeah Baby!
