That was a really sad stretch of games. I remember Kobe doing some really goofy crap on the court, like throwing the ball off the backboard and trying to dunk in-game... and failing miserably. I have never seen him play so desperately. We were a complete wreck as a team by seasons end, but I watched all of it.

It was during that same stretch of games that Thom Yorke took that picture.

yeah it wasn't easy watching those games. i just find it funny how some can act like those teams were even remotely decent.
Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

To think Kobe carried us to the playoffs and we almost slayed a stacked Phoenix Suns team in 2006 still boggles my mind.

Never forgotten. That was the year I saw my first live NBA game - against the Suns at the end of the season. To think how close we were really were.

That also would have set up a Hallway Series against the Clippers in the 2nd round. It was all Tim Thomas' fault.

yeah i was hyped about a possible hallway series. there was no doubt in my mind that if kobe could carry us past the suns,he could carry us past the clips.
