Bayern wouldn't be possible they're definitely in pot 1 and Madrid is in that pot, too.
I would like a Madrid, City, Milan, Dortmund group. That would be soccer at it's best.

I don't want that. I rather see them meet in the elimination stages

Oh cool. Didn't know Bayern were in pool 1.

Re: 2011-12 UEFA Champions League
I see us going with:
Sagna--Vermaelan---Djourou---Traore
---------Song---Frimpong----
-Walcott----Rosicky----Gervinho
-------------RVP--------
Probably rest Aaron Ramsey, or he's on 4 games in 10 days (90 min in the first 3) with Utd on sunday.
Arshavin could replace Rosicky, but I would prefer to have Rosickys distribution and ball retention, to Arshavins pentration and goal threat. Plus, Arshavin can be wasteful in possession, and Udinese is pretty strong on the break.

I'd be really concerned about dead ball situations with Udinese since Di Natale's pretty good.

Re: 2011-12 UEFA Champions League
We should always be concerned about deadball situations with our history, but that's probably ouRbest lineup to defend set pieces, with the unfortunate truth being that Song and Frimpong will probably give up a few free kicks.

So who gets Fenerbahce's spot now that they are banned?
Arsenal might get a chance even if they lose today.

I'd think Trabzonspor who finished 2nd last season in Turkey might be given the chance but looks like they already played Europa football. May be they nominate a 4th German team?

Re: 2011-12 UEFA Champions League
I think they'd take someone from qualification before taking a 4th german team. Possibly Udinese/Arsenal, Benfica, Rubin Kazan

Re: 2011-12 UEFA Champions League
Letting another Turkish team join the Champions League instead of Fenerbahce would make me happy, but I don't see it happening. I read somewhere that Trabzon (the runner ups) don't have a shot because they lost in the CL relegation and thus at the same time lost the right to play in the CL. Of course I'd be happy if Besikas (cup winners) was the team to replace Fenerbahce, but 1. the club is in the middle of the Europa League qualification and 2. the club is also somewhat involved in the manipulation scandal.
EDIT: According to CNN Turk FC Copenhagen might be that team ... something about the "country ranking" in European soccer. Don't know what it's exactly called in English.

Di Natale will inevitably score. If Arsneal can get the away goal, they are safe.
