1) Bell is a FA, so this would probably just be for this season.
2) Wilson might not return from his injury til the post season (if there is one)
3) He probably isn't coming anyways, I heard the Padres want to break the bank with prospects. No way.

Giants claimed him so Arizona couldn't. I'm definitely ok with Giants getting him, unless they give up too much in exchange. Probably won't get him at all though.

So this is why the Giants have been "struggling" so much. They just wanted to fall behind Arizona to block them from getting anyone good off the waiver line, just like last year. It all makes sense now!
