Saw on twitter that Vin Scully might be on the way out. What a shame.

That would be terrible news.

I still tune in occaisionally just to hear his classic and eloquent style.

Scully is still an active connection to the playing days of Jackie Robinson, Willie Mays, Duke Snider, Sandy Koufax.

Scully broadcasted games when Jackie Robinson stole home in the series, did all of the Koufax no hitters, was the voice on the telecast of Don Larsen's perfect game, Kirk Gibson's walk off, etc.

I hope that he is still able to continue.....and not being forced out.
