I think now that summer is over people will have less time. More categories and 12 hours to pick? I always found it very awkward that we have 8 hours to pick, but I work 9 hours and sleep 4-9 hours as well. But I suppose as long as we can PM you our picks things will turn out alright.

I'd offer to do the 2k11 thing for this but I doubt I could get decent rosters.

i went ahead and added olympics as 13 but i changed it to played in olympics with any country. that kinda combines both the olympics category and international into one.

at least 2 more categories to be determined.

if i were to remove an existing category to make room for one of these new ones i think i would get rid of the 1st team all-nba since that one is rather generic.

@ crunk - we can relax the time limit a tad for this. we have nothing else to do this fall so might was well enjoy this. my only fear has always been that the longer things take the more likely people are to lose interest. that being said, our last draft went very well and everyone was involved from start to finish. i dont think there are any problems with this group.

yeah, i just went to firefox > tools > options > privacy > delete cookies

apparently that was the fix. still havent heard what cause all these problems.

we need one more category

i am removing these from consideration
knucklehead - will be too hard to track down arrest records for old players
triple double - i was never able to find a good list. best i found was current top 10 in career triple doubles.
international - see olympics
nicknames - too much grey area

i am leaning towards these for the last cat
homegrown
dunks and 3s

thoughts?

dunks and 3pt competition has been around since 1984 and 1985 respectively in the NBA.

i added dunks and 3s. we have 15 now.

we have 9 people.

once we get to at least 10 we can start thinking about starting. hopefully by wed at the latest.
