I really like the President Carter track, but that CD was weak as you would expect.
Jabee mixtape was pretty damn good, should give it a listen.

Rick Ross killed this, and I'm not even a fan of Ross.

I love the beat to this song. I actually like Kid Ink's music. His songs are always catchy.

This is how corny rap has gotten. Its sad. And its on the fans.

I was expecting this. Jay Z does it often. Its all set up. A simple one liner. Thats really not even a diss. But someone says "ohhh hold up he said...."

And back comes a 4 line response.

Followed by a verse on a mix tape.

Followed by a response to that verse in the form of a whole song on a album.

Followed by another song response that will be on a album that will be grossly over rated because people so patiently wait.

Its WWF. Thats what it is. Its all set up and in good nature for one common cause. Sell the main event.

And the moment I heard "really do got baby money" I knew. A sure nuff, red nation with lil wayne. Here comes "uncle otis". Get the chuck game. And now lil wayne will defend his kissing buddy.

Jay will say some sarcastic **** on a radio mix tape. And baby will hire a ghost writer and buy a ill beat. Wayne will be a feature. Then both will drop weak albums.

**** is real corny and predictable. Moe Dee Cool J. The bridge wars. Mega and Nas. These were real feuds handled through music. Pac and Biggie. Real feuds handled in real life by outside forces. 50 Cent showed you could sell a record by talking ****. Em jumped on it. And now we have WWF.

That **** is **** corny. Bunch of fake **** talking **** selling tickets and PPV hits making money. **** them fake pretend ****. Reality TV panties. Whats that white stain in the middle? Thats from a muff duke!

In today's hip-hop it seems to me beats are consistently slower than the beats back in the 90's...

Take for instance this:

or this:

and this:

Even this which would we would have considered on the slower side:

It's the emcee's of today... it's harder to rhyme to a faster beat.

God bless 90's hip-hop it will never age.

How about live shows?

What are the best live shows you've been to?

I have three:

In 1992 ish... I turned twenty one and saw Souls of mischief (when 93 til infinity dropped), De la Soul and A tribe called quest at the el rey theatre in downtown Albuquerque at a 21 and over show. Unbelievable!!!

I also saw the high and mighty, the beatnuts, nice and smooth and gang starr in Philly at the electric factory. Great show.... was with my heads in the crowd smoking blunts (back when I smoked the stick icky).

And I saw the great KRS-one not too long after he dropped return of the boom bap... again in the duke city. It was KRs-one enough said.

Thing is, Eminem was to me one of the best at making diss tracks this game has ever seen. You get into it with Em, be prepared to be utterly humiliated. (see Benzino)

I've only been to one concert and that was when Cudi performed in NYC in April. Concert was amazing though.

Listen to this dude. Especially the last 16 bars. He goes HARD, and his album is very good.

Also, Bigmo, a while ago I think it was you who said you weren't sure if Hard White by Yelawolf is good or not. I felt the same way till like last week, and I dig it! lol.

The entire Danny Brown mixtape was good, should be a listen for everyone.
Blu's album not even sure what to make of it. All I know for sure is that I miss Blu and Exile working together.
