Yanks @ Boston Bullies: Can we grow sac to be legit?

After two lackluster series, the NY Yanks walk into Boston...and I love the radio catch phrase, "Wow, we should be happy this team is ONLY 1.5 out of first!" Er, really? Is this what it's come to? We're sounding like Knicks fans who sold that garbage, "Wait till Gallo, Wilson, Moz, etc grow into a contender..."

Look I'm almost 40, the Knicks are not going to win a damn thing while I am alive on the planet BUT...when it comes to the NY Yankees...I expect BETTER.

And this team can play better than it has but no, I don't put my money on the unproven...

Therefore, the Yanks gotta show me something before I believe what is going to be the second age of Boston's dominance over NY.

And no, I don't credit the farm because Theo's been trading prospects left and right and has been better than Cashman...You may argue parts but it's not like Pedroia is better than Cano...and Elsbury is ok but I wouldn't think he's THAT ridiculously better than Gardner.

Lester and Buchholtz haven't been untouchable this season.

What Boston does have...confidence in a pressure cooker town...while the Yanks, not sure. Yanks players and management have been fighting themselves. Cashman defends AJ and yet, was griping about Jeter. Most have forgotten that..NOT Jeter. Guarantee you that.

Wow, what difference time makes...right? Time for the Yanks to step it up.

So far so good...heading into the bottom of the 5th, which is usually when Boston really kills CC. So if CC can muscle out two more innings and get to the 7th...I like the Soriano, Robertson, Mo route.

good win... good pitching by boone Logan..

a couple of things that bothered me.. why was tex not guarding the line in the 9th? ortiz should never had gotten a double.. were they not playing shift?

And the umpiring was a bit suspect... the boston catcher swung at the ball and got hit, and they called that a hit batsman? really? wow... horrible..

hughes just keeps making a few bad pitches and the home plate ump really squeezed him on some pitches..

there is probably no player in baseball that I hate more than david ortiz, other than his stink looking teamate youkalis....

blown game... hughes not being able to get out bums, and logan giving up that homer to ellsbury to opposite field.. I hate that stadium.. anyplace else that is a flyout to the warning track.. barely... his season is green wall aided...

1.5 back again.... jeez

blame hughes walking that clown.. if he does not walk that bum, veritek doesn't get that check swing bouncing double.... I mean he battles back from 0-3 to get crawford and then walks this clown.... really a comedy of pitching errors from the yanks.. if we can win tomorrow and take 2-3 not bad...

I want to break something so badly...it's not the loss but it's how we're losing that is really chapping my hide. I'm beyond frustrated.

after the ellsbury HR, my wife had to rush and take the remote out of my hand.. it was about to go through our 60 inch screen....!!

phil hughes has been a huge disappointment

he cant develop the changeup, and his fastball is overrated....they should look to trade him to the NL

hes been a huge bust

Say what you want about Kennedy pitching in the NL West but he has been the best big 3 out of hughes,joba and kennedy.
