HOU would SOOOOOO prefer Horford over Smoove anyways.
You can have Thabs, Moti, Hill, Bud, Parsons, or whomever but Moti is not a 3 (4/5) and I would've thought that Flynn would give you guys the backup 1 since Hinrich can play some 2.

I was just trying to give ATL fair value

Thabeet, Hill, Bud, Flynn, Parsons

for

Horford, Pape Sy

Yeah, you can keep Parsons, Motiejunas is kind of the centerpiece.

As for what position he plays... I know he has a small forward game on offense but why I don't think I ever said he'd defend small forwards. He's a good complement to Josh Smith who is an inside out player but has his range limited to 17 feet in.

With all the Horford ruckus, I see what you did there. Trade is not horrible. Its excellent. We get a full time upgrade from Jason Collins, an upgrade from Marvin and a backup slasher PF. Then we sign a SF and let Crawford the gunner walk. heading into playoffs We look great.

All for this:

I moved this thread to the Atlanta board. These types of threads need to come to an end on other boards (Team, Player Comparison and General Board) since they've been going on for months now. Let's just say it's for your own good because other mods are getting sick of it. Being viewed as a "Al Horford hater" and "Thabeet/Josh Smith lover" will get you banned fast. You can pm me if you need me to elaborate.
So uhh... is anyone rejecting this deal? Because I would love to deal for Horford just for the fact that we can flip him to another team.
For whom? Dwight? What would that package and ensuing "depth" chart look like? Would Orlando rather rebuild or unload contracts?

Hawks could get so much better for Horford or even Smith than this deal. Thabeet and Hill are both garbage players at this point.
