Yeah, he's DHing and batting 7th behind Andrew Jones. Jeter is leading off b/c Gardner was given the day off with Lester pitching.

Burnett is doing well so far, but the yanks can only score one run on 7 hits.

As for Kennedy, look at that pathetic division. The Padres, Giants, and Dodgers have putrid offenses. Sure, the Rockies are decent but nowhere near as close to the Red Sox or Yanks.

yea, kennedy is pitching well, but a lot of that has to do with where he is pitching.

As far as tonights game... a lot of blown opportunities.. burnett didn't pitch bad at all.. the yanks had a lot of great at bats, really worked lester, worked the count, got hits, but could not score runs.. Seems typical of late... can't get that big hit...

Montero left 6 men on base, but I will give him a break since it was his ML debut...

yankee pitching needs to realize, even rivera, bums like lowrie and reddick, don't want to swing the bat, they will almost go down looking than swing.. so you have to just throw your good stuff at them because they can't do much with it.. but walking them does them a huge favor.... like mo walking lawrie.. Jeez man. come on..

good win.. good strike out by mo on gonzalez. Mo can still bring it up there at 94.

good pitching and defense, and I also noticed that nasty curve from Robertson, thing almost drops 12 to 6... nasty..

and montero will have a learning period, this is why he needed to be up earlier, so he could see what he has to learn then go back to swb to fix things....cut him some slack

Tight game. Yanks finally showing that they can't be shoved around... Mo closing in on the saves leader mark and proving he is the greatest reliever ever...

I didn't like Cash calling Montero the next Manny or Miguel Cabrera with a canon for an arm. Let the kid play. He doesn't need added pressure.
