This is disturbing, and I hope they find him innocent, though it doesn't look good. He seems like a pretty cool guy. Keeps to himself, intelligent, well-spoken. I may be alone in my thinking, but I'd still rather have him as our backup pg than Blake.

At least it sounds like he didn't mean to kill her. Manslaughter if he cooperates?

And shoot Walton in the process. Good thinking.

While that may be true and of course that's his defense team crutch to hold, manslaughter will not be an option for J.Crit. Simply because he had intent to harm so one else. There are 3 mitigating factors that decide manslaughter...1. Provocation, 2. Imperfect self-defense, 3.Diminished capacity

His lawyers will have to really grab one of these to build a case for J.Crit. And from what we know of what little info has been released, J.Crit can't go to either as I see it. He wasn't provoked, Imperfect self defense is only allowed when a person has to defend their life in a threatening situation which isn't the case. And diminished capacity is a mental state...his lawyers will have to prove he was "out of it" basically again which isn't the case.

But again I'm not a lawyer and I'm not 100% sure he can't get only manslaughter, I hope he can he's a good kid. His lawyers sound as if they can prove he wasn't the shooter, but now JC will have to rat out whoever was in that truck with him.

Crittenton is stupid. If he did it I hope he goes to jail for a long time.

No, he isn't. Good kids don't kill people. End of discussion.
