Clutch C-Webb (34pts/19rebs) outplays Tim Duncan (2000)

Post#1 » by LamarMatic7 » Wed Aug 31, 2011 11:27 am

One of the best power forward match-ups ever - Chris Webber vs Tim Duncan. Especially because both players are in their primes. However this one doesn't end in the usual way. Timmy has a great first quarter by scoring 16 points, but C-Webb shows that his label as a choke artist isn't quite accurate - he scores many clutch baskets over Duncan and stops him on the defensive end as well. January 13, 2000.

Thought that I might drop this by, since some of you will probably love this.

Ahh, a good clip of the Webber/Duncan matchup. I seen bits of pieces of this game but haven't seen anyone uploaded a good amount of it. Good stuff. Thanks!

Darn, what if Webber's knees were still intact? We would have won the whole thing in 2003.

Man, it's tough for me to keep watching these old Kings highlights. It just makes me want to crave NBA basketball that much more. Only highlights I'm trying to see is current ones. Regardless, good find though. Gotta love the memories.

Watching footage of the glory days is like watching videos of you and your fiance who was killed on your honeymoon. You do it because you miss and love them, and you want to relive the memories, but at the end you wanna walk in front of a train.

Pretty much. If I'm in a certain mood, some of those mixes of those teams can get me pretty choked up.

By the way - I can't say that I have Kings stuff, but if you like the NBA of the 80s and 90s you might want to check out my channel for videos similar to this one. http://www.youtube.com/user/LamarMatic

It was easily and probably still been the most entertaining brand of Basketball since the 1980's

The same Mario Elie, who blew that kiss of death.

This was the year I started to follow this team. My two fav's were Anderson and Barry. I think I'm one of the only Kings fans that liked Nick Anderson! hahaha.

I really liked him before he was on the Kings and I really wanted to like him when he was on the team, but man, he really blew that year.

He never recovered from missing those three throws in the Finals, in my opinion.

Anyone who says Webber was a choke artist never watched him on the Kings. They base it on the timeout.
