Yeah! That was a good one! It seems like it was a bad game the first half and in the second Bo McCalebb made it work for Macedonia.
The fun has just started: this is Europe!!

Our offense that bad, as i pointed on a previous post...We have only one experienced guard (Zissis) but he is just a role player. Calathes had one of his worse games ever. FYROM is not very talented team, but are experienced, tough, physical so they took him out of the game very early (there style is similar to us, and we couldnt handle it)

We are really miss a the leadership of our great guards...The sure hands...anyway i just hope that someone of our youngsters will blossom on the tour...

Zisis had a **** game when we needed him to make jumpers.
Calathes panicked in the 4th quarter.

Mavroeidis earned his spot over Vougioukas. Over and done with. He earned it. But he had no right being in that game today.

We can still win the group. If we do, this is a good lesson. This may be the worst loss in Greek basketball history, but don't throw Zouros under the bus. No one was making shots and the guys looked hungover and sluggish after their day of rest.

Let's see how we bounce back.

The FIBA TV commentator needs to be fired. He was so pro-FYROM it was ridiculous.

Unfortunately, the refs decided to reward McCalebb for his flailing, and nailed us with a lot of travels when the Skops were doing the same thing. Not blaming officiating though, you don't get destroyed that badly.

poland wins 84-83. turkey played like **** letting a scrub like berisha get hot from 3pt range. still .. what happened at the end of the 3rd quarter was ridiculous. the refs gifted 5pts to poland with two stupid calls. turkey's chances of reaching the next group stage are dim.

I haven't seen this kind of officiating since 2006 NBA finals. Such a shame that one of the best teams in the tourney is on the brink of elimination. He calls 2 bogus flagrant fouls, then doesn't call the obvious foul on Ilyasova. He gave 8 points to Poland, he should be on the boxscore.

Group A is nuts. There's a way Turkey or Spain get knocked out and Poland qualifies.

Glad Greece pounded Montenegro. We can definitely take Group C now.

Turkey should beat Poland even if all referees are blind. There is no excuse for that lose

The refs in this game were terrible. They screwed both teams equally though.

I haven't seen 3-point attempt foul you are talking about, but I actually thought that the refs were trying to screw over Poland - on the last possesion where Turkey got the lead Kanter lost the ball out of bounds but they called a phantom foul and when Kanter missed second free throw, they called a lane violation and let him shoot again.

I have never seen a potential 8 point possession before...so I'm going to have to go ahead and say that Turkey got the short end of that stick. Although I do agree that the refs were really bad all around.

3rd Q refereeing was in Poland's favor, end of 4th was in Turkey's. Either way, I'm Polish, and quite surprised and happy they're in the run for 2nd round. Turkey hasn't shown they're elite, beyond squashing an premature GB team.. meanwhile Poland has played like a good team besides the Lithuania game. I hope Poland beats GB.

Yeah, that end of the 3rd quarter was so weird:

Of course Savas was the beginning of that.
