lolwut?

Could've sworn doc meant that the guy was signing autographs on horseback.

lolwut? You're patiently awaiting for material that you've already heard? All "mastered" is is making it more clear and crisp with some of the beat possibly being slightly altered. It's essentially the same song. I'd be thoroughly disappointed if Spitta ever did something like that.

Yet you hate Curren$y, and for what reason? Least he cares enough about his listeners to drop new material on mixtapes and albums instead of re-releasing songs as if a "mastered" version is going to be any different. Not calling you out, but I've seen and heard a multitude of people overhype Cole as being "The Second Coming" or "The Future". "Oh he's the most underrated rapper", "he's the hardest working rapper" etc. Bullsh*t.

So far in Cole's "career" he's only released 3 mixtapes with one album on the way. By the end of just this year alone Curren$y is going to have 3 albums (possibly 4) along with 2 mixtapes out. And he's already got 2 mixtapes planned for 2012, one I'm already calling mixtape of the year because it'll be a collabo with Wiz & Big Sean. The guy dropped 8 mixtapes in one year back in 2008 and somehow Jermaine is the hardest working rapper in the game.

I like Cole, I just don't get your hate with Curren$y. If it's about lyrical ability then sure Cole has Curren$y beat, but Curren$y has some good liners himself and you'll be hard pressed to find a song where Curren$y ends up lacking both lyrical and production wise. The production of his tracks easily make up for what he lacks in the lyrics department, and it by far blows out anything Cole has put out thus far.

 Yeah I was disappointed when the track listing came out, plus his 2 singles but he put those old tracks to get his new fans the chance to hear those songs plus having Drake on your album doesn't hurt. He pretty much produced his whole album, hes been releasing a ton of free music (not even counting the mixtapes), so come September, even though I don't think the album is going to sell a whole lot, the album won't disappoint, guaranteed. And Curren$y isn't even on the same level as J. Cole.

That was a cool story, him releasing music outside of mixtapes and all. Still doesn't change the fact that Curren$y in one year alone has released more music than J.Cole has in all of his 4 years combined in the rap game. So much for the hardest working rapper in the game. *Kanye shrug*

And Curren$y isn't even on the same level as J. Cole.

Are you talking about lyrics or track production? If you're talking about production then let me be the first to diagnose you with mental retardation. There aren't enough laughing emotes on the internets to accurately depict how much fail the above statement is.

Lil B has made like 1,000 songs or some ****, does that make him better than someone like Lupe Fiasco?

Go back and find where I said Curren$y is better because of the number of tracks he has over Cole. I said people like to say J. Cole is the hardest working rapper in the game, when he's re-releasing "mastered" tracks that everyone's already heard on his mainstream debut album. Yet Curren$y is releasing new projects left and right but he gets overlooked for someone who's only released 3 mixtapes in a 4 year time span. You can actually sense growth in Curren$y's music today than from his older tracks. There is no lyrical or production growth with Lil B, making your comparison rather clumsy.

I'm talking from a track production standpoint. Cole may make his own beats but Curren$y's beats take a steaming dump on Cole's beats.

speaking of Bangladesh, I have a colleague whose father died the other day because of stroke. I feel bad for her since she didn't have the opportunity to see her father before he passed away. :(
