The Indiana Pacers are pleased to announce they have signed SG Brandon Roy to a 4 year 22.53 million dollar contract (the terms are listed below). Its a big risk because of his knees but I am willing to take it. I probably could have gotten away with offering him less but with Paul George ahead of him on the depth chart I can afford to baby him. We will not rush him back and we're confident that in time he can become a quality 6th man for us in the years to come.

Brandon Roy
Year 1: 5
Year 2: 5.4
Year 3: 5.83
Year 4: 6.30 (player option)

Denver has reached an agreement with AK47. He fits the theme of defense we have here in Denver, and he is a good 6th man to bring off the bench. He can play 2 positions as well.

HOUSTON ROCKETS SIGN EMEKA OKAFOR TO 4 YEAR DEAL

The Houston Rockets announced the signing of Free Agent Center Emeka Okafor to a contract that will pay him $38.3 Million over the next 4 seasons. Okafor will recieve $ 8,500,000 in 2012 / $9,180,000 in 2013 / $ 9,914,400 2014 and $10,707,552 in 2015. All years are guaranteed with 2015 being an ETO.

In a statement Houston GM said Okafor will be a Strong post defender and highly effective shot-blocker and rebounder. We look to him to be our defensive anchor. He has overcome all the injuries that nagged him in 2010-11 season and we expect him to help us make significant playoff runs in the future.

I confirm the past three signings.

With that, the list looks like...

Elton Brand - ($/win) - Oklahoma City
Kris Humphries ($$$) - Milwaukee
Andrei Kirilenko ($/win) - Denver
Carl Landry ($$$) - Sacramento
Rashard Lewis ($$/win) - Atlanta
Emeka Okafor ($$$) - Houston
Tayshaun Prince ($/win) - Atlanta
Brandon Roy ($/win) - Indiana
David West ($$$) - Miami
Mo Williams ($$$) - Minnesota

Rashard Lewis has received some offers, but he is still looking for more money! Don't be afraid to offer! He will make his decision in an hour or so. (or whenever I go to sleep)

I'm not sure I understand why I lost out on Mo Williams. I offered 2 years full MLE and a player option for a third?

Championship contender. He took a discount.

Edit: He gets the starting job as well.
