AA has been linked to Johnson since he was hired so I think it is a safe bet that at least an attempt will be made to lock Johnson up for 2012-beyond. I would imagine AA would keep a player that he covets (unless he just wants a comp pick for Johnson, which is pointless since the Jays have no 2B option next year).
Unless Johnson wants no part of playing in Toronto, I can see a 1+1 or 2+1 type deal offered to him in the off-season (+1 meaning a team option.....which AA has included with every player he has signed, I believe).
