Training camp even if we are locked out.. :D

Chris Bosh expects to be ready for the beginning of training camp regardless of the NBA's current lockout. Bosh expects members of the Heat to begin working out together soon.

"We're going to make some plans. We're going to plan to do something," Bosh said in a telephone interview from Los Angeles. "I think just getting around each other, I think it's important as far as team-building is concerned and just getting something going. We're pretty much still in the process of doing that."

Would be cool if we could get some make shift workouts if the season is locked out.. Heck get a proper coach who isn't bound by nba contracts to come help.. Would be priceless if Rick Adelman came to coach us

Somebody needs to come in. There's 2, possibly 3, players on this team that hold an alpha mentality, where they feel that they them self have to be in control of the game. There needs to be a coach that is the most alpha, who won't take disrespect from anybody and make it his game. The players and the coaches have to understand who is control.
All of a sudden, it doesnt become about them (the players). It becomes about doing whatever this guy (whoever it is) says. And they better not blow it, because if they do there will be hell to pay in practice or otherwise.
There has to be a figure out there to strike the fear of God into these players and will them to a title. After all this team has been through, it would be real poetic.

And if you haven't caught on to who I'm referring to, then look no further than the Chief of Operations himself. Pat Riley is what this team really needs. If he sacrificed one year providing good, fundamental and inspirational coaching, then this team would have won a title this year, and who knows how many repeats after that.

My 2 cents.
Yeah Baby!

this is really good to hear. as we witnessed in the lockout back in 99, the teams that had the best chemistry performed the best in a shortened season. Also, I think we finished in a 3 way tie for first place in the conference that year, another example of how EVERY game counts and chemistry equating to wins is a huge advantage for the teams that have cohesive units.

I look forward to hearing more about our team coming together without the coaches and building chemistry to stay ahead of the curve, if and when the season arrives.

Ugh the fact we are even discussing this makes it depressing.
