MIA sends:
Jameer Nelson $7,800,000
Kevin Martin $11,519,840
Total:$19,319,840

HOU sends:
Andre Miller - $7,807,728 (TO) N/A
Marcus Morris - $1,566,900
Chuck Hayes - $4,000,000
Courtney Lee - $2,225,093
HOU 2012 1st

Total: 15,599,721

HOU has 11M in cap space, so he can absorb the extra salary. We do this because we get young depth and a good vet in andre. we also get a draft pick! martin's 3 will be missed greatly, but we hope thornton can step it up. Good Dealing, HOU.

I guess I have to apologize again, Hayes was just resigned and so you must wait a week to trade him. I am sending out an email to ensure that everyone knows this, people must have browsed over it in the free agency thread.

This has been edited due to the 5 day waiting rule for signing FA: I will hold onto Jameer while HOU holds onto Marcus Morris and Chucky Hayes since Hayes was resigned less than 5 days ago. When 5 days have been up, we will re-swap these 3 players to complete this deal. Salaries for players in the first part works because he'd get 2M extra, then salaries in the 2nd part still work because HOU has the cap room to take the additional 2.2M on Jameer afterward). Either way, HOU can take on the total of 4.2 M extra salary because HOU has ~8M in cap total.

Today makes it 5 days; we will complete "part 2" of this trade where HOU gets Jameer Nelson and I received Chuck Hayes/Marcus Morris.

Kings and Suns have agreed to Trade.

Kings Trade/Suns Get
Jason Thompson
Jimmer

Suns Trade/Kings Get
Raymond Felton

Why? I really like JT and Jimmer but I just couldn't trust him come playoff time, and while I miss JT, I signed Landry so his loss won't be much in effect. Money Works because I am under cap

Trade 18 confirmation. Houston accepts the completion of the original deal after waiting period. Jameer to Hou and Hayes/Morris to Mia. Reasons previously noted.

EDIT: 34 - broke my own rule, apologies and thanks for catching it.

Toronto and LAL have agreed to a minor trade.
LAL Out: Steve Blake $4,000,000; 2012 Golden State 2nd; 2013 Golden State 2nd
TOR Out: Nada

For me this boils down to two things: 1) Blake has always been a good backup until he was put into a non-traditional offense like the Triangle, he won't have that problem here and 2) I like picks.

The Raptors have about $7,000,000 in cap space, so this trade works.

Trade 35
CLEVELAND & HOUSTON IN 6 PLAYER SWAP

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets have announced the following trade:
Cleveland sends Ramon Sessions ($4.26M), Anderson Varejao ($7.7M) & Antawn Jamison ($15.1M) to Houston for Jameer Nelson ($7.8M), Kevin Martin ($11.52M) & Timofey Mozgov ($3.343M).

The Actual salarys are - CLE out $ 27,034,688 - HOU out $ 22,663,952. Since Houston has over $6.5M in cap space and this is a $ 4.4M difference (& the deal works within the 125% rule) the trade works.

Houston is delighted with the talent this move brings in positions of need and loves the Jamison expiring. His experience and savvy will be invaluable to the young bigs the Rockets are grooming. Though 33 Jamison still competes at a very high level. Okafor/Varejao Center combo is just down right tasty.

MIL Get
Michael Beasley $6,262,347
Avery Bradley $1,524,480
2013 MIA 2nd

Total: $7,786,827 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $9,833,533

MIA Get
Stephen Jackson $9,256,500
2012 MIN 1st

Total: $9,256,500

Accept. I guess this is a good deal for me? I save some money. Beasley's only 21 and a much better fit with my rebuilding team than Jackson is. Didn't like giving up the 1st, but Bradley is probably better than anybody I could have gotten with that pick, since it'll be in the 20s.

Confirmed! We get to move lbj back to the 3 and sjax takes over the 2. he can shoot the 3, and we get a 1st round pick. Now we have 2 first rounders. I don't like losing bradley since he's good young defender, but we value jackson's outside shooting (he'll get plenty of open looks w/ cp3/lbj/west around) more so. Good dealing, MIL!

Confirmed. We believe this deal upgrades our assets. Kevin Martin is an elite scoring guard in the NBA, and he holds some serious value around the league. Jameer is a starting caliber PG that can show the ropes to Irving. Mozgov has shown some promise and serves as a stop-gap for us at center since we are sending out AV. Good dealing, Houston!.

Confirmed. I sacrificed a few second rounders to cut down on salary and chop down on some of the point guards I have. Ty Lawson, Fisher, Morris, and Goudelock is enough.

I don't like giving up picks, but I have my own second rounders and other second rounders from other teams so it doesn't matter too much.

Total: $2,862,602

CHA Get
Larry Sanders $1,861,920
Jon Brockman $1,000,000

Total: $2,861,920

Accept. Centers are tough to get, and I simply like Lopez more than Sanders.

MIA sends:

James Jones (S&T 3,500,000 for 2 years, total of 7,000,000, PO on 2nd year)
MIN 1st

CLE sends:
Grant Hill (S&T, 2,500,000, for 3 years and PO on the 3rd year)

We do this because MIN 1st will be in 20s and we just love Grant Hill because he's such a glue guy. He will be a great vet to have with KG in the locker room! Good dealing, CLE!

Confirmed. Not a "blow you away" deal, but we get a solid rotation SF on a good deal and a 2012 1st that we didn't have before. Nice dealin'.

Trade #39

Houston & Milwaukee Agree to Terms

The Houston Rockets have agreed to trade Antawn Jamison & Goran Dragic to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Kris Humphries and Beno Udrih.

In Humphries - the Rocket acquire a long term solid post scoring and rebounding presence and felt that Udrih starting experience and skill set would improve the balance of their units. In addition, this move allows them cap space for future upgrades should opportunities be presented.

Humphries ($4M) and Uhrih ($6.925M) represent $ 10,925,000 of Outgoing Salaries for Milw with Jamison ($15.076M) and Dragic ($2.108M) incoming ($17,184,715). Since Milwaukee's salary is just over $47M they have sufficient cap space to absorb the additional $6.254,715 in (exp) salaries.

Houston thought it was great dealing with the Bucks whose roster was current and all parties could negotiate with full knowledge of the assets available. Win Win

Accept. I dump Udrih's contract, save a lot of money here. I also like Dragic a lot as my backup guard.

# 40

Kings and Bobcats Have Agreed to Terms

Bobcats Trade/Kings Recieve
John Brockman (1,000,000)

Kings Trade/Bobcats Recieve
2013 Second Round Pick

The reason I agreed to this trade is because I've been a huge fan of Brockman since he entered the league. He is undersized, but that won't stop him. He'll still fight you downlow, fight for rebounds, and profides solid D. He's like a Rey Mysterio or JJ Barea in the NBA. All it costed me was a second round pick which will most likely be out of the top 40 range (Or I hope lol). Also get's me closer to the Limit of Twelve. Trade works because I am a little over 47,000,000. Great dealin'!
