Francona has Gonzalez ready to pinch hit, but pulls him back after Reddick gets out to give some guy named Spears an AB. Don't understand.

He's a good bench player that takes walks. I'm not sure why anybody is hating on the guy.

I'm hating on the guy because he can't hit. 8-)

Using that logic, John McDonald should be one of your most hated Jays ever.

They want the wild-card spot.

It's so much nicer watching EE in the cleanup spot, rather than Lind. Lind should have been bumped down in the lineup awhile ago. Taking the pressure off of him could have helped him find his swing. What Bautista has done with Lind backing him up this year is very impressive.

At the plate. Yes. On the field No.

McDonald is better at the plate than Mccoy has ever been. A career .194 BA, with an OPS of .543

versus Mcdonald at .245 and .619

Although this is a small sample size for Mccoy, Mcdonald has been around far too long to compare him to Mccoy.

Mcdonald is the better defensive player overall.

I'd take Mcdonald over Mccoy any time of the year!

Until Mccoy learns to hit, he is useless to this team's offense and success.
