I like art like that bro, my favorite artists are the people that sit on pavements and draw pictures of Jesus and stuff on roads and walls.

The only art I hate is abstract art. I mean you could scribble anything on a canvas, BS about it and sell the painting for millions and it don't even look like a real thing.

Im not sure Jackson Pollock or Basquiat BS'd about what they were painting, and I'm pretty sure it looked like a real thing to them, nor did they care about the money.

You really don't have to BS but I really see nothing more than the painter's expression in abstract paintings. What good is exhibiting it get if no one other than the guy that paints it can appreciate?

Well you're assuming that no one else can appreciate it, which is entirely false. All art is an expression of the one creating it, most of these guys are not consciously trying to paint abstract works. And most of these guys NEVER expected their works would to be put up in an exhibition, so its not like they had people commissioning them to paint 16th century wood nymphs prancing through a forest, or cartoon like caricatures.

I understand why you might not enjoy abstract art, I personally don't care for romantic art, but I don't get why you would hate it, or think it's BS...

LOL i hope I don't come across as an art snob. I took art history last semester and gained a much greater appreciation for all forms of art.
