Hawks Need!

DEPTH!!

Just looking at the roster, the Hawks are committed to 9 guys at $66 million. They only need 12 guys to complete the roster, but then again, they really could use something decent coming off the bench, but they don't have much money to obtain the more known commodities.

More than likely they will have to fill the roster with:

-D-Leaguers
-vet mins
-undrafted rookies
-via trades

Knowing that, I would be okay with giving a bunch of those undrafted rookies a shot to contribute. Scotty Hopson, Malcolm Thomas, & David Lighty are 3 guys I think should have been drafted. The Hawks could really use some depth on the wing. Hopson has the talent to be a big time scorer off the bench. Lighty is a great defender and spot up shooter. Thomas can spark the bench with some energy and hustle.

Would like to see the Hawks revisit McCamey & Omar Samhan as well.

Who are some guys you would like to see on the roster, whether it be a FA or trade? At least be somewhat realistic.

Well at least he looked was making them. Maybe he gains enough confidence and increases his %'s.

Josh always had confidence... he just wasn't making them before. Philips Arena would yell no when he was about to shoot and he would shoot anyways, that's confidence!

Josh Smith was the biggest guy on the court and was shooting over a short slow center and some 5'10 guys.

Come playoffs he'll need speed to get to the rack.

Let JC go, Josh drops weight.
We get the trade for Motie, get spacing without the gunning. it'll be like 3 guards spacing. We get back to the high % shots.
