We need to have him attend the CP3 elite PG camp, and work with a good shooting coach. If he develops even SOME handles and a decent J, he could be a pretty nasty SG in the league. And I'm sure I'm not the only one looking forward to Irving and Eyenga running fast breaks and throwin lobs.

The thought of Eyenga improving his handle and shooting, combined with the possibility of drafting Harrison Barnes makes me salivate a bit. Add to that the development of Thompson, and Cleveland could be an interesting young team in a couple of seasons.
Irving/Eyenga/Barnes/Thomspon/FA or Varejao, good luck getting easy baskets in Cleveland.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

i still gotta say i'd shoot for Drummond, I think Casspi is more than serviceable as a starting SF for us for now.
Irving/Eyenga/Casspi/Thompson/Drummond

I agree, as that is my dream scenario. I am simply expecting Drummond to be the #1 pick, and I do not see Cleveland having that much luck. Essentially, I expect a top tier wing prospect to fall in our lap with the draft. If it is a SF such as Barnes, great. If it is a SG such as Rivers, Beal, or Lamb, then I hope Eyenga is strong enough to play SF.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Re: Eyenga looking good @ indy pro-am
I don't understand that sentiment...why don't we have a good shot at winning the #1 pick? If it's because we had it last year, than you're essentially admitting it's rigged...because truthfully the odds that won #1 were the Clippers #8 position odds, not our 2nd worst record odds...if ANYTHING, as far as the Cavs odds went we kinda got screwed cause we had the second worst record and picked 4th
let's pray for a little Orlando style luck, like when they got #1 2 years in a row and took Shaq and Webber.

You are over thinking the scenario. This is Cleveland we are talking about, nothing goes our way for that long.
The lottery is totally rigged anyway, how the hell did Chicago, with a 1.7% chance, land the number one overall pick when the top prospect also happened to be a Chicago native?

I almost feel bad posting in here after Outlaws rap rant...
then I remembered how excited I was about hoffa, such is life...
Your going to have to forgive (perhaps ban some) rap fans for trolling your boards this season. There naturally will be a few dorks hyping Val but there will be more that simply are keeping track of a canadian baller in TT and want to see him to well.
As for Eyenga if he DD like, then you got a gooder. I thought SG might be a weakness for you guys but if thats not the case your development is going to come much faster than I anticipated (which is good, we are still expecting raps to be lotto bound so less compitition for high pick
)

Wow, is he really that good? I missed all his playoff games last year, so he's kind of an enigma to me.
