Philadelphia would like to announce, well in advance, the declining of the team option on Nocioni's deal for 2012/13.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

CellarDoor wrote:Chicago has two signings to announce, and two other moves to mention.

First, we resign Kurt Thomas for the veteran minimum (trying to figure out what that is this season). KT enjoyed his time in Chicago last season, and fills in beautifully as needed. He'll make an ideal fifth big.

Second, we sign Travis Outlaw using the BAE for 3 years (3rd year player option). We like Outlaw's scoring and think he'll be more efficient on this team than in NJ with an absence of scorers. We also like that he can play the 3 and 4 for us depending on the match-ups and need.

Lastly, Chicago releases(d) Jannero Pargo and John Lucas III. Frankly, I hate both of them. There's no spot for them here.

Confirmed.

Phoenix has four signings to announce.

Chris Douglas-Roberts:

We finally get a very nice starting SG. CDR is a guy who can handle the ball and knows many different ways to put the ball in the basket. He will be a nice player in the future, that's why we signed him to a long term deal.

Anthony Parker:

There is nothing against good defense, nice 3-point shooting and of course leadership. Parker will be one of the best options to back up the 2 and 3.

Josh McRoberts:

Finally, we get our starting PF. McRoberts is able to 'battle' inside next to Gortat. He has a solid jumpshot, a lot of athleticsm and he plays decent defense. Like CDR he signed a long term deal to be one of our centerpieces in the future.

Kwame Brown:

He's a solid third string C who plays some nice post defense. His one year deal includes a team option for another, so no financial risk here.
Hill on Nash going to the Lakers: “That’s like transferring from Duke and going to Carolina.”

Dallas are pleased to announce the re-signing of DeShawn Stevenson to a 1-year $1.5m deal.

Orlando Magic used MLE, which was still not used and signed SG Daequan Cook.

Contract: 3 years, $3,100,000, fully guaranteed.

$1,000,000
$1,050,000 (5% increase)
$1,050,000

He'll be a good back up SG, who can shoot and is still only 24 years old.

I only have one offer from you and it is from 12 minutes ago. If you sent another offer and have not gotten a reply, then resend it. Thank you.

Memphis has 48 hours to match. Jeff Green is back on the market, a sign and trade involving him fell through. Please, before you email me a sign and trade make sure you have an agreement already worked out because there might be another player going back onto the market because of a similar situation.

MIA signs Delonte West to 2 yr BAE with TO on the 2nd year. We like him as a backup combo guard as we may trade roddy for a more win-now player! Delonte and LBJ have no problems with each other now!

How can you afford to pay Gay, Randolph, Battier, Mayo and now Gasol?
