MIA sends:

James Jones (S&T 3,500,000 for 2 years, total of 7,000,000, PO on 2nd year)
MIN 1st

CLE sends:
Grant Hill (S&T, 2,500,000, for 3 years and PO on the 3rd year)

We do this because MIN 1st will be in 20s and we just love Grant Hill because he's such a glue guy. He will be a great vet to have with KG in the locker room! Good dealing, CLE!

You can't sign and trade a player that wasn't on your team to start with. You can complete this trade once a week is up.

Trade 35 >>>>prior>>>> Toronto / LA trade #34 - Blake deal

CLEVELAND & HOUSTON IN 6 PLAYER SWAP

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets have announced the following trade:
Cleveland sends Ramon Sessions ($4.26M), Anderson Varejao ($7.7M) & Antawn Jamison ($15.1M) to Houston for Jameer Nelson ($7.8M), Kevin Martin ($11.52M) & Timofey Mozgov ($3.343M).

The Actual salarys are - CLE out $ 27,034,688 - HOU out $ 22,663,952. Since Houston has over $6.5M in cap space and this is a $ 4.4M difference (& the deal works within the 125% rule) the trade works.

Houston is delighted with the talent this move brings in positions of need and loves the Jamison expiring. His experience and savvy will be invaluable to the young bigs the Rockets are grooming. Though 33 Jamison still competes at a very high level. Okafor/Varejao Center combo is just down right tasty.

It looks like I skimmed over this, apologies. It is approved.

Trade #39

Houston & Milwaukee Agree to Terms

The Houston Rockets have agreed to trade Antawn Jamison & Goran Dragic to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Kris Humphries and Beno Udrih.

In Humphries - the Rocket acquire a long term solid post scoring and rebounding presence and felt that Udrih starting experience and skill set would improve the balance of their units. In addition, this move allows them cap space for future upgrades should opportunities be presented.

Humphries ($4M) and Uhrih ($6.925M) represent $ 10,925,000 of Outgoing Salaries for Milw with Jamison ($15.076M) and Dragic ($2.108M) incoming ($17,184,715). Since Milwaukee's salary is just over $47M they have sufficient cap space to absorb the additional $6.254,715 in (exp) salaries.

Houston thought it was great dealing with the Bucks whose roster was current and all parties could negotiate with full knowledge of the assets available. Win Win

Repost Monday and it will be approved, Humphries week still isn't up.

# 40

Kings and Bobcats Have Agreed to Terms

Bobcats Trade/Kings Recieve
John Brockman (1,000,000)

Kings Trade/Bobcats Recieve
2013 Second Round Pick

The reason I agreed to this trade is because I've been a huge fan of Brockman since he entered the league. He is undersized, but that won't stop him. He'll still fight you downlow, fight for rebounds, and profides solid D. He's like a Rey Mysterio or JJ Barea in the NBA. All it costed me was a second round pick which will most likely be out of the top 40 range (Or I hope lol). Also get's me closer to the Limit of Twelve. Trade works because I am a little over 47,000,000. Great dealin'!

Approved.

Trade 41

ROCKETS AND KINGS EXECUTE 2 PART DEAL

The Houston Rockets have traded Ramon Session, Chase Budinger and the NY Knicks 2012 1st round pick to the Sacramento Kings for the Kings 2012 2nd round pick. The deal moves $ 5,142,266 salary to the Kings who are at $47M and can absorb the cost under the Cap.

In a separate deal, the Kings move PG Raymond Felton to the Rockets for a $ 7,500,000 TPE developed from Houston's trade of Shane Battier and Ish Smith to Memphis Girzzlles.

Houston was sorry to lose the services of Sessions and Budinger, but said Felton's range and leadership were deciding factors in their decision to make this deal and use their Trade Exceptions.

Milwaukee and Detroit has a trade to announce

Milwaukee sends
LRMAM ($4,.6m/ $5m/ $5.56m/ $6.12m) $4,600,000
Shaun Livingston $3,500,000
Total: $8.1m

Detroit sends
Austin Daye $1,929,600
Rights to Kyle Singler.

Detroit has 10m in cap to absorb the difference.

We get an effective defender and an able backup at PG which we lack only at the cost of giving up a backup at best in Singler. Didn't really want to give up on daye though.

Approved.

Trade #45

Portland in / GS out:
Eric Bledsoe - $1,596,360
2014 GS 2nd

GS in / Portland out:
Markieff Morris - $1,649,300

Salaries obviously work.

GS accepts. We signed Calderon in order to be able to move Bledsoe for a big man, and that's what this trade does.

This is trade 47, please remember to number your trades, it makes it much easier for me.

Cleveland and Indiana have a trade to announce.

Cavs out: Kevin Martin ($11,519,840), Luke Harangody ($788,872), 2013 Orlando 2nd = $12,308,712

Pacers out: Paul George ($2,406,240), Dahntay Jones ($2,700,000), Tyler Hansbrough ($2,138,040) = $7,994,480 x1.25 = $9,993,100

Indiana has the cap space to take on the additional salary.

Cleveland does this deal because it makes us younger and deeper. We believe that Paul George can become a superstar in this league, given his McGrady-esque skill-set. We also like Hansbrough quite a bit to split minutes with Thompson. Dahntay plays great defense and is a good veteran to have. Nice dealing, Indiana!

Cleveland / Indiana Trade #47
Trade 48

Philadelphia & Houston in Sign & Trade for Thaddeus Young

The league office announced the approval of a deal in which the Philadelphia has agreed to exchange RFA Thaddeus Young along with Marresse Speights and their 2012 2nd round pick to the Rockets. Houston will send Andeson Varejao and Rookie PF Kenneth Faried to the 76ers.

The Rockets will pay Young $40M over 5 year deal: $7.5M/$7.5M/8.0M/$8.5 and 8.5. All years are fully guaranteed. In addition, Houston will be taking on Marreese Speights contract of $2,721,225 ($10,271,225 Incoming Salary). Philly will be getting Varejao's $7,950,000 salary and Faried $1,078,000 totallying $9.028,000 so the deal will work under the new CBA.

Houston feels that the Batum/Young moves makes their SF a position of strengh at both ends of the court and Speights is one of the best shooting Centers in the game which will create havoc with teams defending the Okafor/Speights combination. Houston was extremely happy to get all these pieces to come together. Nice dealing with the Sixers new management.

The trade and signing are approved.

EDIT: 34 - broke my own rule, apologies and thanks for catching it.

Toronto and LAL have agreed to a minor trade.
LAL Out: Steve Blake $4,000,000; 2012 Golden State 2nd; 2013 Golden State 2nd
TOR Out: Nada

For me this boils down to two things: 1) Blake has always been a good backup until he was put into a non-traditional offense like the Triangle, he won't have that problem here and 2) I like picks.

The Raptors have about $7,000,000 in cap space, so this trade works.

I guess I'll approve my own trade :-?

Cleveland and Houston have yet another deal to announce, involving a familiar face.

Cleveland out:
Jameer Nelson ($7,800,000)
= $7,800,000

Houston out:
Beno Udrih ($6,925,400)
Jimmer Fredette ($1,923,600)
Philadelphia's 2012 2nd
Orlando's 2012 2nd
Sacramento's 2012 2nd
= $8,849,000

This trade was made because of our desire to get younger. We love Jimmer and think that he can be a top-notch 6th man for us for years to come. We also look forward to playing some "small ball" with Kyrie and Jimmer on the floor at the same time. We also gain more draft pick ammo here making the downgrade from Jameer to Beno worth our while. Nice working with you as always, Houston.

This is trade 49, please remember to number. Approved.

ATL and SAC have a trade to announce.

ATL trades:

Jonny Flynn $3,414,720

SAC trades:

Udonis Haslem $3,780,000

Why for ATL?

There are rumors that Collison + Pachulia will be moved soon, so there is a need for a big man. Flynn was our 3rd PG. He would have seen 0 minutes and has 0 trade value.
Haslem is a high energy guy off the bench with very nice contract, because he took less to play for the Heat.

This is trade 50, please number your trades. This is approved.

ATL and GSW have a trade to announce:

ATL trades:

Nick Collison $3,272,997

GSW trades:

Lou Amundson $2,403,000
NJ 2012 2nd

Why for ATL:

After getting Haslem as our PF.backup we decided to trade Collison for an exp and a small asset. Could be useful in other deals.

Trade 51 is approved.

Trade #52:

Orlando Magic and Minnesota Timberwolves have reached the agreement:

Timberwolves send:

Andrew Bogut $12,100,000
Derrick Williams $3,955,400
Luke Ridnour $3,680,000
Anthony Randolph $2,911,231
Lazar Hayward $1,097,520
2014 MIN 1st round pick
2015 MIN 1st round pick

TOTAL: $23,744,151

Magic send:

Dwight Howard $18,091,770
Hedo Turkoglu $11,015,850

TOTAL: $29,107,620

23,744,151 * 1,25 + 100,000 = 29,780,188

29,780,188 > 29,107,620

Deal works.

We feel, Dwight would have left after the season anyway, so we decided to get something back in return. And this return is really good. We get top 5 center in the league Andrew Bogut, who is still not old, also we get high draft pick Derrick Williams, who may become a future superstar. Also we get Anthony Randolph, who may become next Lamar Odom or even better. Also, we get veteran PG Ridnour, who brings experience and leadership to my team. Lazar Hayward and 2 1st draft picks are ok, even though, we don’t value them much. Last, but not least, we get rid of Hedo’s huge contract.

Trade approved, great job, guys.
