or

can't you be both?

-it won't be an issue with girl one unless she has feelings for you

-as long as girl 2 sees you as boyfriend material and you're not committed, nothing wrong with doing girl 1

you won't have to choose the lesser of two evils, you get the best of both worlds. 8-)
