Got to wonder is Jordy has gotten A LOT better or does the defense lose focus of him? Was the clear number 2 behind Jennings and his stats don't show the bomb that could've been if AROD doesn't lose his handle on the snap on the deep ball.

After rewatching the game, I really don't see much difference between Grant and Starks beside the huge 17-yarder that was a product of good blocking. Grant had some solid runs early on that I forgot about.

No offense to Rodgers as he was absolutely dominant... I think at this point it's pretty difficult to argue anyone besides him or Brady being the best player in the NFL.

But I think Brady got ripped off. I think I'd probably even give it to Cam over him considering the circumstances.

I actually think Rodgers had a better week than Cam. Better completion percentage, better TD/INT ratio, better rating, more TD's. Cam just threw it more. And Rodgers won. Cam was impressive, but I don't think you can give it to him just because it was his debut, you have to weigh the performances individually vs. each other.

Brady doesn't play in the NFC?

I think you have to look at the Cardinals' defense and realize that they still suck.

Yeah, like I said... under the circumstances. But I understand the theory of "who cares if it is his debut". That's completely reasonable and I can see that argued. I just thought that was amazing because it was his first game and I personally (I realize it's not the popular opinion) would factor that in.

I don't see much of an argument against Brady though. It's hard to be better than Rodgers was, but I think Brady did it. 500 yards is absolutely insane.

Regardless, those guys (and Brees as well) were all fantastic. Any of them would have been a great choice. I also think Tolbert was a sleeper against those guys as well. He played extremely well and get into the end zone a ton... same with Wes Welker, who was a huge part of why Brady did as well as he did.

I think we'll find out that the Cards D sucks even more this year with Rodgers-Cromartie gone.

I was one that wasn't expecting Cam to fail (also not expecting him to be dominance right away or Peyton Manning...ever). That said, the performance against Zona still did pique my interest.

Still, if you just watched the games you'd say a major difference. Rodgers was a surgeon with his offense while Cam hit some open WRs and had some nice rollouts and throws on the run. No insult intended, but obviously Rodgers' stats look better if you saw them actually racked up.
