Imagine you listening to the radio in 95 and you hear this for the first time.

Like that verse over the beat, sounds really good on that beat. Maybe even better then on the originals. Just love hearing that hunger in his voice. Thanks for that.

And I see you guys are talking about Fab. Real talk when I was 14, 9/11, I remember before school started buying"Ghetto Fabolous" before I bought "The Blueprint" a week later. I remember not buying mixtapes on streets unless Fab had a 16 somewhere.

Before I ever heard L spit, I thought Fab was the best punchline rapper ever, used to hate when people slept on him like he was a lady's rapper.

Ghetto Fab, I more than rap for my bucks
And I keep two 9s on me like Warren Sapp from the Bucks...smh.

Fab's first freestyle with Nore on Monday Night Mixtape

Unless he was high as ****, I doubt Nore slept well this night.
Fab's multi's are just sick in this free. . And damn I miss the Monday Night Mixtape. I used to go back and forth watching WWF Raw and listening to Clue.

Around that time the conversation was around Banks/Cassidy/Fab as to who was the best punchline rapper. Personally for me there are two Fabolous...
-There is Dadaddadada damn.... Early Fab.
-Then there is Loso.... the R&B rapper.

@ Manhatten. My expectations arnt high, he has been going downhill for quite sometime. But he is good. My real big beef is that he didnt flow to the beat at all and it sounded bad. His lyrics were below average and was just ryming a bunch of **** together trying to sound clever. Like Eminem has been doing passed few years and is why i feel like everything he has put out has been garbage.

@ Adjacent: Yea, Fab was a monster before he became more poppy. But even becoming poppy he hasnt become absolute trash like Lil Wayne has. Drake also sounds ok after going poppy, but not as good as he was when he wasnt making songs for the radio. Buti still bump alot of old school fab. Keepin it gangsta remix and Real gangstas dont play still get a lot of burn on my ipod. Also, you never responded to the video i posted, just curious if you gave it a listen or not.

yeah that's all true but even if it was actually done, would they put it out ? he's not a mainstream artist. he don't have these club/pop singles. always seemed a weird fit to me.

Off topic kinda, but Jay Z is wack now and has been since kingdome come. To get back on the Ra Ruggedman subject kinda, Jay Z totally bit off of RA's verse on Vietnam Story in that Monster song that was always being played on the radio by him kanye and Nicki Minaj (sp?) Who sadly enough, Nicki killed both Kanye and Jay on that song.

I've been saying J Cole is wack for a long time... Nice to see some of you see my point now

I will however give him some credit. There are a few songs he dropped that are bangers. Neverland is amazing

Jay-Z needs to quit rap... NOW.

He just keeps making his image seem worse every time he is on a song. He should quit while he's ahead, just to save his career and image. I can't stand listening to this guy anymore, ESPECIALLY after WTT dropped.

Jay can still write his subliminal messages as good as ever though, it's just that most people don't care anymore. I mean he still owes four CD's on his contract I believe, he ain't going anywhere. Jay Z has reached a point in which he revamped his image, brand, friends, production etc all of it. I mean Id never expect to hear Jay on a street anthem ever again, he has nothing to gain from a lot of avenues these days.

Nicki's verse was trash on that song. Jay or Ye had the best verse, though it wasn't that great.
