Nice to see all 4 English clubs go through. I wonder how Birmingham might cope with fixtures if they progress further in the competition.

I'll be watching Lazio hopefully get an easy win. I'm curious to see how Tottenham will do in Greece

Tottenham, Stoke, Fulham draw their games, PSG wins and Celtic is getting beat, which isn't surprising considering their recent form in European away games.

Surprised by the team Fulham set out though, even Dos Santos got a game and then got substituted by a guy most have never even heard about.

Think you meant Tottenham, but yeah, they probably couldn't care less about Europa. I watched the Atletico match and Celtic were simply outclassed. Not much to do for Courtois

PAOK should have won.

Beşiktaş with a comfortable 5-1 victory against Maccabi Tel-Aviv. I thought it would be harder for us, but they are just a bad team(or played horribly) I guess. This doesn't give me any hope for the games against Stoke and Dynamo Kiev.

Tottenham 3-1 Shamrock Rovers

Despite the result, I thought SR played really well this game. Specifically the first half. Their goalkeeper, Brush, was top notch. They kept the game 0-0 at HT. SR scored early into the second half. But Tottenham answered back with 3 goals in a 6 minute span (60-66).

Gio was definitely the MOTM. He created the most goal opportunities (got an assist eventually) for his strikers all game long and his passes were accurate as they come. He was very lively and was one of the major reasons why Tottenham won the game. He also scored the 3rd goal for Tottenham too!

Schalke wins relatively easily 3-1 at home against Maccabi Haifa.

Hannover completely dominates the first half and is up 2-0 against Poltawa and then they stop playing soccer and escape with a really, really lucky 2-1 victory.
I don't know how that is possible. You completely dominate a team for 45 minutes...how can you stop playing soccer then?

It won't be on Youtube for very long (it'll be up on Footytube later), but what a strike by Pavyluchenko:

Why Harry is being an **** and trying to sell him away I'd never know. Pav is a confidence player who will likely get better if given games and until Adebayor arrived he was Spurs' best striker as well.
